Oh stranger..

In 2007, something very interesting happened. One Friday, I was on my way home from KKB, just waiting for my announcement ‘stesen seterusnya, Subang Jaya’ haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa nak balik!! Nk juga!!!! Carry on, n jgn layan my nonsensenesss,.. I was in my polo maktab shirt.. worrying.. about SPM. Ye la, byk nk kene baca, yet tak byk yg I tau sgt. As I was gazing upon the blue sky.. dreaming…( Ms. Sherry.. if ur reading this.. I nk markah lebih for this essay tau) then ada this one guy came n tegur me;

“Dik, mrsm mana?” he asked.

“KKB, abg dari mrsm mana?”

“Jasin”

Okay, there are two mistakes here. One, I was suppose to ask him first whether he was from mrsm or not, duh its in the first rule of flirting, sheesh. And the second mistake was I was not supposed to main call people ‘abang’. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee gelinya, even I don’t call my brothers abang (Ariff, Aizat.. sori yeee heehe) haa so next time I kene mahal sikit, call people ‘bro’ or apa2 la. ‘Abang shall be last season, chey! Haha continue with the story. He asked about my spm, I said la my problem tu… yg banyak nk baca n all. Then he told me about himself

“i used to be top ten in Jasin..”

My jaw dropped, ye la jumpa top student Jasin kot! Until he continued his last line

“..top ten from behind” I gelaked la, ada ke patut ckp mcm tu.

He told la a story about himself n how he was in Jasin,.. selalu ponteng la… main la ni la tu la. But was also a debater. He went to UIA and debated for both bahasa n English, good huh? He told me he was doing ib in either kmb or kms tk igt la, n going to India to do medicine. Then he said that he studied 2 weeks before spm.. yeah..that’s what they all say. But what caught my attention was when he told me how he did it. He told to just do the past year question, because they are going to publish the same exact thing, n he said that mana yg tak tahu kene yg revise, n mana yg tau tu repeat la. Plus, not to read every single thing from scratch, tu bazir masa. From what I understood, from this method, I could see that he did two things 1. Revise what he knew and 2ndly studied what he didn't know. Its kinda funny how that managed to help me. I changed after that, with ALLAH’s will of course. I was more confident.. somehow. N after that, I prepared much better for my spm, n did my best larh. Hurm until today, im still in contact with this stranger, n I hope he’s not reading this blog, Hafizudeen! Jgn baca blog ni yea? So.. those of you who are not Hafizudeen, rajin2 la comment blog ni.

Yang baik itu datang dari Allah, yang buruk itu dating dari diri saya sendiri. Minta maaf jika tersalah kata.

P/S: I miss 5 Cemerlang, especially Fahana :p n Ramzy!!

cruise around the park.

once upon a time.. this is a story of a boy named Aidid.. and he's happy.. hehe.

mhmm....

One Sunday( the only day of the week that is a holiday btw) me n my friends went out to buy some stuff, senang cerita grocery shopping. come to think about it, i kind of love to cook. Anyway, we went la.. we walked, and took pictures and walked and got hurngry n makaned and then lastly balik masak. we didnt find any crazy people before. ada sekali tu, me n my firned Khai(yg byk dlm gmbr tu) went to meet our lecturer (Natalia-very lembut n motherly lecturer) and then ada this one guy dtg, dgn tak malunya dia pergi sampuk our conversation. he looks kind of drunk. rasa macam nk tampar je, haha jahat betol. but ye la. our lecturer tried to halau that 'niepravilniy' person or takbetol punya orang. but he wouldnt go. we left him. its kind of awkward to have a woman protecting you ( i meant my lecturer Natalia lah) but.. umm dunno la, its not my country. sini kan, semua org mmg brave. My lecturer tu dah la biarkan je her son keluar mcm tu je. maybe its their way. sini org tk kene culik kot. and some more, ada sekali tu, i passed a guy who was walking. he wasnt just any guy. mmg takut la cara dia pakai, he wore a suit, mmg cantik n black n white, painted his faced like a clown in black n white colour, n bawa payung. muka pon.. mcm nk bunuh org. mmg scary la that guy, lagi2 kalau dia bawa pisau, haha okay, Aidid has gone over the line. haha. tgk2 that guy cuma nk bagi broucher aja. ahahah kinda pelik word huh the word 'aja' haha. ajaj aajaja, haha. okay i just wanted nk cerita about my trip out with my friends, tgk2 dh smpi part org kurang betol. haiiya. enjoy the pics.

The moral of the story, if you want to be crazy or tak betol, just keep ur self in side of the room, not on the streets. jangan susah kan the public. hehe.

autmun in my heart

dance on the tembok bebeh haha

gotcha
a stroll in the park would do good
Thats all folks. i'll try to show the picture of the scary clown guy. Yang baik itu datang dari Allah S.W.T., dan yang buruk itu datang dair diri saya sendiri. salam.

My friend, Ammar Amrie

Assalamualaikum. This is a story about a friend of mine, Toby McGuire aka Ammar Amrie, ahaha Ammar jgn marah. Anyways, for those of you reading this blog, Ammar is a very nice good best friend of mine who has always been there for me during my school days at MRSM KKB.

Part One: Pertemuan
In the end of my form four time, I had a crush on a super cool senior her name was N@5%^.. Ada la mana leh gitau.. anywho.. ada this one night tu.. I wanted sgt to give her something, a birthday present kot. That time, time was limited as the form fives( as a matter of fact gave me the name ‘Bombay’ pfft) and dorg pon dh nk belah from KKB. Back to that night. I was at the Dewan Selera, Ammar was there too, he told me to go to her, I could have done that myself but I wasn’t with my spectacles. I was.. well.. quite cuak la.. to meet a very super cool funny smart adorable senior tu. Ammar somehow pushed me to go to her..

That was the sweetest night ever : )

I think this senior somehow brought me and Ammar together ( kpd sesiapa yang fikir kitorg gay what the ham weh, we are best buds kot!)

Part 2: Climax ( cepat gila weyh dh climax, pfft)

Throughout our form fives where we strived to succeed in SPM, we had tones of FUN!! We did many cool things, like duduk up the cliff on the fourth floor,( tgk gmbr tu!!!), urm, we skated (yeah, we skateboard, tgk the video!!, that was Ammars voice) main badminton(Ammar tgk je.. hahaha, no la. He came masa my big final lawan. Even I lost in the finals, it means a lot for me that a good friend was there for me) makan, looked for hot chicks(akak DS) ahaha, we didn’t do that la, study, jumpa hantu ( remember that subuh Ammar?) and a lot actually. We even fight sometimes.. mcm budak2 kn? Mmmmph, who cares la, it was school, so tak kisah la how childish we acted. I learned a LOT from this Ammar Amrie, and I’m thankful that he’s a friend of mine. There is a LOT actually I would like to share, kalau boleh, every single thing that happened. Every single moment meant a lot to me.

Part 3: The End And now…
Ammar is at UiTM, taking his diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and as for me.. I’m thousands of miles away from Malaysia. The distance wont separate us apart, kn Ammar kn? As long as we remember each other in our DOA.. miss you buddy! Nnti aku balik aku kacau kau lagi ho h oh o.

The life of Aidid.. pfft .. in Volgo.

Assalamualaikum.. I would like to share my everyday schedule as a (pre)medical student in Volgograd State Medical University. I don’t prefer to write every single moment and the exact time I spend doing it ( like going to the toilet and all) but I’ll just split it into categories

Prayers
To me this is the most important activities of the day. Its quite hard to pray especially hwen we have class like from 8.00 to 4.00. not like what we have in Malaysia where there is one hour brake. Sure.. there is a break, like 20 minutes or perhaps 10, but the place to pray is quite far, but I’m thankful that there is one, which is located under a staircase. Kira tempat terpencil la despite still ada orang yang lalu lalang. If I’m not mistaken, don't know la whether its tue or not, when Russia was a free country, it was agreed that NO religion things can be performed, not even Christians, apatah lagi ISLAM. But as the years go on, things started to loosen up. Even the prayers under the staircase pon the Uni tutup sebelah mata. Now things have changed, there are mosques, as well as churches in Russia.
Once, I took my wudhu’ in the sink, and you know la the toilet there is unisex *pfft* haa ye la. Any who, I was washing my leg, then suddenly a lady( tak la lady mana pon. Lecturer I presume) pushed in the door, and started to crap ( bla this bla that) and then she left… and forgot her footsteps of bisingness in the corridor. I meant I hear this la that la mcm nk complain. Then I thought, takut manusia.. atau takut TUHAN?? So I just biar la apa nk jadi.

Food
To be honest, mmg la ada plenty of food sini, but sometimes its quite hard to find halal food. So, most of the time I just eat bread, sapu dgn chocolate or cheese( cheaper than Malaysia), and milk n water, and for now, ada lagi la serunding from rumah J whatever it is, ada makanan, Alhamdulillah. But not as mewah as it is in Malaysia, plus the price pon pergh.. any who I eat every day, like twice a day, ala sama la diet dgn those yg nk jadi slim model kat Malaysia. Hehe. Ok not funny. Survival skills mmg important, that is skill memasak. To be honest, before this I just cooked using rempah, and beli ayam halal. Even my sister pon boleh buat, so no big. But then when the rempah instant tu dh habis I was only left with curry powder, instant asam pedas, and some kunyit. What can I do with curry powder weh?? What look at me with dark skin reminds you of the roti canai and carry at the mamak stall is it? Pfft

Roomates
My roommates are very very nice, and not to mention hardworking, and smart. They are in their second year studies as medical students. Alhamdulillah since mrsm I had wonderful roommates (F - 2 – 8: Black, Pelo, and Shahmir.. I miss you guys.. seriously!) and at Intec, ( c7207Khai, Din and Ijo), until now. I feel like I’m having two professional coaches training me for the Olympics. They can really give good advice and all. Jo, Keat Leong, if ur reading this.. um.. I hope you guys don’t mind me being the one sepahing the room, hehe. You guys are such inspirations!

Studies
Studies here is DEFINITELY DIFFERENT from Malaysia. Well, in Malaysia the lecturer asyik suap je, if here, if you don’t do well, if you don’t study, then that is your problem. It depends on our effort now. Kalau bazir masa doing things that we are not suppose to, mcm buat blog ni.. but what the heck la. Tomorrow is ony Russian. But I would like to challenge this theory about ‘lone survivor’ and do it like the way we kkbians did it in MRSM, COS. Maybe some people find it better doing it alone.. hmm biar la, its their way. Doing medicine is like going for war, we have to COOPERATE. And this is important for our future work. A good doctor once told me that empathy is also important in medicine is empathy. And that is what I’m planning to build in myself and in other people. There are lots of important assets of a good doctor, but tkkn nk ckp skrg kn, korg mesti dh bosan baca blog ni… sorry. Any who, two heads are better than one bebeh!! Hehe.
One more, I just gotthis from my roomie, Jo. He said that ‘ here mana ada like Malaysia, teacher teaches first then only he will ask. Here.. they want you to teach them.. gilaa… ‘ I laughed la. Yea. That is actually a good thing because I prefer that kind of style of teaching, and I also prefer that kind of style of studying as well. It’s going to be hard, but it should be worth it once you have the knowledge about a certain subject.

Toilets
Haa toilet pon to me have to be an issue. Yeaa as you can see in the picture, mana ada paip, sinki, even tempat tissue also no. Nevertheless Islam has thought us how to beristinjak

Weather
Every morning, before leaving the room, it is very important to know the temperature outside of the room, this is important to know how thick you should wear; if cooler then have to wear thicker la. Now its autumn, so temperature is around 10-18degree. Can’t wait for winter, nk main Ice skating, baling – baling snowball, hehe.

People
SOME are friendly. SOME are not as friendly as most Malaysians. That’s all I have to say. They HARDLY smile.

That’s about everything people. Comment If you think I can do better. Thanks for reading :)

Farhana, Hani, n Melin

Assalamualaikum. This blog is for my prep malam friends; Fahana, Hani, n Melin. Well,.. how do I begin. I think I never told you guys about this.. but here goes.
In 2006(cheh formal la ni) I enrolled into MRSM KKB, a place where wonderful, cheerful and success learning process (Cgu Azmi!). I was a quiet,um.. a bajet innocent, and not that kind of person you would rather meet. I became the class rep in the first sem, don’t know how that happened. I did a very bad job in leading class c, duh~ it is me, what do you expect.

Anywho, the first person I think I remembered was Melin. Melin was always smiling to me. I was like pelik laa ‘ why la this girl is smiling to me.. ‘ I was felt weird, maybe it was my hair, or zip seluar tk tutup lagi, oops~! Or maybe I perasan kot. Eh, Melin, nape senyum2 dulu ha? Haha. I didn’t quite know Nur Amalina Zahari, well… not yet

Then, it came to Hani. I didn’t really know Hani, though she is said to be famous in our batch( Eh Inah jgn perasan hauahuahua) yea. Even once, I mistaken Hani with Fatima Ahmed quite malu la at first when I tegur the wrong person. Then.. masa sem 2, Hani entered Class C. that’s where it all began. To tell you the truth, I fell in love with her beauty ( ye la, bukannya senang nk jumpa org rupa lawa mcm arab) but not with her. Lelaki, biasa la kan. It’s kind of funny when I come to think of it now. I really wanted to know Nur Hani bt. Sharaf, but I was just… scared. I think I talked to her once, that one also was a message from Syakirin(feewwiiitttt~!) hahaha. And at times, I always looked at her, ( Hani perasan tk?) I sound like a stalker. But come to think of it, how far can the love of beauty go? Here is how it should go if we were to choose a spouse;
1. Iman
2. Agama
3. Kecantikan
4. Harta
And another one more thing that is quite important to me is to accept the person as he or she is. Ok, ni dh masuk bab perkahwinan dalam Agama Islam. To me, the attitude of a person shows the persons beauty, rather than the looks. Guys, I would like to remind myself and you; lets try perfect our attitude. Perangai baik, cantik la orang tu, but kalau perangai buruk, walaupun lawa mana or handsome mana that person is, Ugly is still his or her middle name. I eventually get to know Hani when we were assigned as partners in e-board to get signatures. You know what Hani, we should have asked them to write their own accounts rather than we go and ask each and every one of them. Wasted our time, chait. But that was the event I got to know this Hani Sharaf.

Came into the third sem, form 5. During early of the year, I sat in a group with gupt and others la. We played a game; I think it was ‘one happy family’. Farhana was there. Then some bad happened, then she said ‘stupid@#$013’ I laughed like mad, hehe. Fahana… sorieeee. Anyways, after that I started to say HI to her, like ‘HYE FARHANA!’ and I did it LOUDLY! Hehe. Her place was very strategic, under the fan, good place huh Fahana?:) and then, we sat, then we talked. That’s how it all started..

Once, I wrote a note on a page-on(ala yang warna kuning tu la, yang boleh tampal2 tu) note to her, I think it was ‘chill la.. I love you rite..’ mcm tu la. And then that message got spread bagaikan cendawan tumbuh selepas hujan. Many people came to me and said ‘Aidid, kau couple dengan Farhana eh?’ I was quite annoyed until once I think i jwb ‘ ha ah ye,kitorang bahagia’ oops~! Then I talked to her la about that. She asked ‘ Aidid, siapa yang tahu?’ I answered “ How bout you tanya siapa yang tak tahu’. Just because we sit together during prep malam, doesn’t make us a couple kn Fahana? We do love each other, but as close FRIENDS. I hope every time I tell her that, I hope she knows that I meant it.
Then, every night, we would kumpul, talk, make jokes during prep malam. I always tell them ( tk tau korg igt ke tk :P) ‘we’re going to miss this moment, so better enjoy it’ now, I wish that we cn still have prep malam, study together, discuss, see each other. But now, even we’re going to go our own separate ways, I believe that maybe at times, we are going to reminisce the fun moments we had.
As we go on,
we remember,
all the times we.. had together,
and as our time change,
come what ever,
we will still be,
FRIENDS FOREVER.
Nur Farhana Bakri, Nur Hani Sharaf, and Nur Amalina Zahari:
You guys don’t forget me yea, nnti dh besar, dh kahwin, ada suami handsome2 and anak ramai, haha.

P/S; I'm sorry if i terperasan( byk pon act

My journey to Volgograd, Russia

Assalamualaikum.. Zdrasvuitie my family and friends. Before I start to tell about my journey, I would like to share something that is quite meaningful to me. Back in 2005, while I was studying for my pmr on the main desk in my house, my Abah came, and said ‘Belajar rajin-rajin, nanti masuk mrsm, and pergi overseas’ with the will of ALLAH S.W.T. that actually happened. Prayers and blessings of parents are important, I actually made It to mrsm kkb, and now, I’m studying in Russia.
The day before my flight, there was a small family gathering in my house. I would like to thank Kak Dotty, Kak Ila(haven’t seen you for a long timeJ), Mamitun for coming. Thanks yea!
The next day came, the day I leave Malaysia for good, well I don’t mean it in a bad way. I wore my dads 27 year old antique very nice set of a grey coloured suite. He used that when he graduated from Oxford University, and now, it has been passed on to me. Its up to me now to prove to everyone especially Abah and Umi that I can be the worlds best doctor, I would like to go to the highest limit, and give all my best. But the most important thing is to become a normal human being, if you get what I mean.
My cousins, and their family came to bid me a farewell journey. I had to be at the airport at six, because there was a briefing at that time. It was 5 o’clock, and I’m still at home. It was sort of a rushing condition, then Alhamdulillah me and my family made it to KLIA. The briefing wasn’t that brief because I didn’t have much time as I wanted to spend my last moments with my family. Maybe that was enough, because God doesn’t give us what we want, HE gives us what we need. Anyhow it was time to say goodbye. It kind of sad though, but I kept cool(chey!). Abah is a total inspiration for me, because he sacrificed a lot for me, and the way he handles things sometimes amazes me. Sometimes I would feel very guilty of seeing him spending his time, money, and giving wonderful advices. Therefore I try to work very very hard, to repay all the deeds that Abah has sacrificed for me by showing excellent results. Next person I shook hands and hugged was Sarah, my dearly awesome brilliant sister. Next it was my younger brother, Syed Amir. He is talented I tell you people, the way he plays guitar, I tell you FUHHH.. hehe. I hope to see him in flying colours after his PMR. Eventhough we fight a lot during our childhood days, I believe that is going to be a sweet memory for us later on, kan, Amir kan? Hua hua hua. Next it was tall handsome tough caring elder brother Aizat. Next, it was my eldest brother who is very caring, smart, tough, and also a future doctor, Syed Ariff. Thanks for the perfume! Thanks for being the best siblings a person could ask for.
The last person should be the most important person in my life, Umi. Umi did EVERYTHING for me. Might I remind myself and you who are reading this that the prophet Muhammad S.A.W.. once said that a mother holds the top three rankings of the most important people in our life. I might not know what to do if Umi was not there for me. And now, everything that my Umi reminded really happened. To Abah and Umi, I hope you are reading this, nanti carikan I bakal menantu yang baik- baik, alim, and kalau boleh yang boleh jaga hati parents mertua.. hua huahua, awalnya nak fikir pasal benda ni. Please pray for my success.
Back to the airport, after saying goodbye to my family, it was time to go. I transited at Amsterdam, Holland. Most of MARA students have to go to Frankfurt, German. But only 16 have to go to Holland. The place was NICE! Not forgetting the flight by MAS Airline was exquisite. I sat next to Sid, my class mate, well, at least there’s someone I know to talk to. I applied what Ustazah Sharifah told about how to pray on the plane. When the plane landed I was.. well of course happy la, kot. Prices of things at the airport were VERY EXPENSIVE! I wanted to buy something as a souvenir. Imagine, its RM 13 just for a coke. Pergh. But the swiss Chocs are cheap Then, from 16 people at the airport, we split into two groups, one group flying to Moscow earlier than another group. I was in the first group! Woohoo!! The flight to Moscow took approximately 3 hours. When we arrived, we had to pass through the immigration. It was time to speak Russian or gavarit pa ruski. I did my best. I passed though the immigration, and make sure that everyone is there. My friend, Hidayah bt. Abdullah didn’t get her bag I think. So, we went to the counter to ask for it. I said ‘ ana nia paluchaet yeyo chemodan’ or she didn’t get her bag. And then, when the receptionist replied, I just couldn’t understand what she said. Because there are some words, verbs and rules that I might have forget or have not learn yet. I chose to laugh rather than suffer from stress when we tried to communicate at the counter. We eventually spoke English. Russians can be rough at times, maybe its their way. They hardly smile. And there was one time, I opened a door for a lady (lawa pula tu, Russian girls are very pretty.. Abah, Umi, boleh tk org Russian, haha). At least a thank you would do. She gave the masam look. And then I was like umm papela, I was hungry at that time, tk buka puasa lagi.
Hidayah eventually got her bags the next day. We were greeted by our seniors, who id very very very very very very very very very nice. Seriously, baik sangat. We stayed in Marriot Hotel. The place was very nice, paid by MARA lah. Only the students that are going to Volgo and Nizhny are staying at the hotel, those who are going to stay in Moscow are staying momentarily at the Malaysia embassy.
The next day, after staying at the hotel we head to the Malaysian embassy for a last farewell with those going to Nizhny and Moscow. I took a few pictures. I have to say that the picture I took with Hidayah bt Jailuddin ( my batch ada 4 org nama Hidayah) is the best because she has always helped me in a lot of things, we’ve been partners for a few assignments. It was quite sad to leave everyone though.
I left Moscow, to go to Volgo. My bag.. was.. lebih kilo.. kene la bayar, but it was cheaper than Malaysia, if Malaysia 1 kg extra, we have to pay rm 200, if at Moscow airport, its about RM 20 per kg. imagine that.
We arrived to Volgo. We were welcomed by a our lecturer, Natalia Vladimirovna, a sweet motherly lecturer, Nina, and our seniors who are superb! Then my hostel was at a place named Hiroshima. We took a bus, and arrived there. It was said that the place is somehow for Malaysian students.
When we arrived at Hiroshima, we were celebrated by a LOT of seniors. I mentioned before, they are very very very very very nice. My roommates we’re 2 seniors. One even carried my big bag all the way to the 6 floor, imagine that. One floor have a few rooms, either of two or three people. And my floor has two bathrooms with heaters, one which is not working, and two toilets
Talking about the toilets, guess what, there is only a jamban and that’s it.. don’t laugh hehe. Yea, we have to use bottles to wash, and bring our own tissue. May sound disgusting, but that’s the truth.
The next day we we’re taken to mamayev kurgan (mama’s hill kot.. hehe) the mamayev kurgan is very tall, and very heavy. The place was built to remember those who died in the Stalin war. There are a few monuments, and buildings of the war and some tanks and jetfightes. I that’s about it, I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Sorry for the mixed language, thanks for reading, please comment!!
